Chinese special envoy discusses regional security, bilateral issues with COAS

RAWALPINDI, Nov 17 (INP): Special envoy on Afghan Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Peoples Republic of China, Deng Xijun called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed with him matters of bilateral interests. According to a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Deng Xijun during meeting with the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, matters of mutual interest including regional security and issues with particular emphasis on Pak-Afghan border management were discussed. The visiting dignitary appreciated and acknowledged Pakistan Army's contributions and Pakistan’s sacrifices in war against terrorism. INP/SB/AK
