LAHORE, April 06 (INP): Black Day was observed all the country on Friday against India’s brutalities in Held Kashmir, the US bombing at a Qunduz madrissah in Afghanistan killing around two hundred Huffaz e Quran and Israel’s oppression against the Palestinians, on the appeal of Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Siajul Haq. Protest rallies were taken out in the federal and the provincial capitals besides major cities against the bloodletting of the Muslims in different parts of the world. Ulema and Khatibs, addressing Friday congregations, underlined the need for Ummah’s unity and a joint strategy against the enemy. Addressing Khatme Bukhari ceremony at Jamia Arabia, Gujranwala, Sirajul Haq called for a convening a joint session of the parliament and an APC on the Kashmir issue. He also stressed the need for contacting the Muslim countries for an OIC and the UN Security Council special meeting on the genocide of the Muslims in Kashmir, Palestine and Syria. Strongly criticizing the government, he said that instead of solving the problems of the masses, the government had become an agency for the collection of taxes and utilities bills. The JI chief said that the parliament building had an inscription of the Kalima Tyibba on its face but corrupt and dishonest people were sitting inside it. He said these criminals should be in the Udyala jail instead of the Parliament as they were responsible for all the ills in the society. He termed the ruling junta as the biggest hurdle in the solution of the Kashmir issue because it did not consider Kashmir as their issue. He said the Kashmiris had been offering sacrifices for Pakistan for the last seventy years and Kashmiri leaders including Syed Ali Shah Gilani had braved all forms of India’ tyranny and oppression but had not wavered from their stance. He said it was obligatory for this country to stand by the Kashmiris but the rulers in Islamabad remained unmoved. He further said that India was working on a plan to block Pakistan’s share of river water in order to turn this country into a desert but the rulers were not taking the matter seriously. While condemning the US bombing on a Qunduz seminary, Sirajul Haq said that the US had crossed all limits of brutality and had targeted small children reciting the Quran. He deplored that the so called human rights bodies had not raised a voice on this incident. The JI chief said that the elite sitting in the corridors of power in the country wanted the Ulema to restrict themselves to mosques and madrissahs. However, he said, that the Ulema who had the knowledge of the Quran and the Shariah, should be the rulers in an Islamic state as they had the capability to solve the problems facing the state and the masses. The JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, addressing the rally at Faisalabad, said the India troops were massacring dozens of Kashmiris every month but the UN, the OIC and the human rights organizations remained indifferent, which was a greatest tragedy of the present times. JI deputy chief Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, addressed the rally at Dhir Kot, Azad Kashmir. He said that the India’s brutalities in the valley had brought the independence of the k Kashmir nearer as hundreds and thousands of the Kashmiris were on roads against India’ excesses. The JI deputy chief Mian Muhammad Aslam, addressing the rally in Islamabad, called for appointing a deputy Foreign Minister to exclusively handle the Kashmir issue. The JI deputy chief Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, in his Friday address at the Mansoora mosque, said that the blood of the Kashmiris and Palestinians was being shed but the Muslim rulers were blind and deaf and dumb. He said that the daughters of Kashmiris and Palestinians were awaiting another Muhammad Bin Qasim, Mehmud Ghaznavi and Moatasim Billah.
