Dubai bound couple held after recovery of 3.4kg heroin at Islamabad Airport

ISLAMABAD, Oct 11 (INP): The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle 3.4 kilogram heroin to Dubai and arrested a couple at Islamabad Airport on Thursday.
The ASF sources said that during search of baggage of a couple leaving for Dubai through private airline flight EK-615 at Islamabad Airport, 3.4 kilogram heroin concealed in ‘jainamaz’ was recovered. [timed-content-server show="10/12/2018 01:00 Asia/Karachi"]According to ASF sources, the ASF confiscated the recovered drug worth millions of rupees in international market, offloaded and arrested the couple who want to travel to Saudi Arabia via Dubai. The detainees along with the recovered heroin were later handed over to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigation which after registering a case against them started the investigation.
