LAHORE, April 14 (INP): Pakistan cricket team middle order batsman Asad Shafiq has said that English pitches will test mettle of Pakistani batsmen. During the ongoing training camp at the Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore for the upcoming Ireland and England tours, Shafiq said that he was also paying attention to fielding. He said that responsibility of senior players had increased after Misbah and Younis. Shafiq said that he could not score more runs in test cricket due to bating at number six. He was hopeful of better performance in upcoming tours by bating on top positions, but regretted that Yasir Shah had become unfit. Meanwhile, bowler Hassan Ali did not participate in the third day of the training camp as he was not feeling physically well.
