Finality of prophethood base of Islam, those who amended law must be penalized: Fazl

ISLAMABAD, July 05 (INP): Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) and President Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that finality of prophethood is base of Islam and those involved in amending the law should be penalized. In a statement issued here on Thursday, Fazlur Rehman said that the detailed verdict of Islamabad High Court (IHC) has exposed the elements in making amendments the law of finality of prophethood. Ht said that we appeal to award due punishment to the elements who hatched conspiracy of amending the law. The MMA President said that a panic was created among the countrymen especially religious community by amending the prophethood law. An exemplary punishment should be awarded to these anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan elements so that no one could dare to do so in future, Fazlur Rehman added.
