Five dead, 10 injured as Jaffar Express derails after struck by explosion in Nasirabad

NASIRABAD, March 17 (INP): At least five people died and 10 others were seriously when five bogies of Jaffar Express derailed after struck by explosion here on Sunday.
According to details, unidentified miscreants had planted explosives with the railway track near Dera Murad Jamali in district Nasirabad which exploded when Quetta bound Jaffar Express was passing by the scene a portion of the railway track was damaged causing five bogies of the train to derail.
Five people died in the incident while 10 others were seriously injured.
The railway traffic was suspended due to the destruction on the track.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital and the railway authorities started work to repair the destroyed track.
The security forces cordoned off the area after the explosion and conducted search operation.
