FM Asad Umar vows to make Islamabad green

ISLAMABAD, March 14 (INP): Federal minister of finance Asad Umar on Thursday revealed that Islamabad is one of the most beautiful capitals of the world and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led government will enhance its beauty via planting trees.

Finance minister Asad Umar during the inauguration ceremony of the tree plantation campaign insisted that their government will 1 million trees in the federal capital in the spring season.

On this occasion, Prime Minister’s adviser for Capital Development Authority (CDA) Ali Nawaz Awan said, “After terrorism, Pakistan’s biggest threat is of environmental pollution.” “PM has decided to plant more trees to overcome this threat,” he added.
