ISLAMABAD, May 05 (INP): Senior leader Jammiat Uleme-e-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri has alleged that the incumbent government is afraid of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and was victimizing him.
Talking to media persons in Parliament Lodges Islamabad on Sunday, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that the decision of withdrawing security to his party chief was taken on directives of Prime Minister, Interior Minister and the Chief Minister.
He said that it was blessing of Allah Almighty they he himself, JUI-F chief and other leaders of the party remained safe despite repeated terrorist attacks.
The JUI-F leader said that due to poor economic policies of the incumbent government, the economy of country was passing through worst juncture of history and price hike was increasing with each passing day.
The country was facing multifaceted internal and external challenges at present, he added.
Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that change of Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reveals that the IMF wants to give loans after fulfillment of its conditions.
He said that the JUI-F will not accept such tactics and will hold countrywide protests against the steps which were against the national interests.
The JUI-F leader urged the government to review its decision, otherwise get ready for the consequences.
