Govt to complete term at any cost: PM Abbasi

LONDON, Dec 14 (INP): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif’s meeting with PML-N chief and former PM Nawaz Sharif started in London. Prime Minister Abbasi accompanied by CM Punjab and Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif reached Hassan Nawaz’s office in London for the meeting. Talking to media before the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the government would complete its term at any cost. He added that caretaker set-up for holding next general elections would be formed in June next year after the sitting assemblies complete their tenure. Earlier, the senior government figures arrived in London after a one-day visit to Turkey for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s emergency summit on the status of Jerusalem. INP/AJ
