Akhtar Munir PhD Scholar at the Department of Social Work University of Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis titled as "Practice and Politics of Corporal Punishment in Schools. The thesis has been supervised by Prof. Dr. Basharat Hussain while evaluated by Prof. Dr. Corinne May-Chahal (Lancaster University, UK), Dr. Monique Lhussier (Northumbria University, UK) and Dr. Tahira Jabeen (University of Punjab, Pakistan) for the award of PhD degree.
