Illegal Expats: Turkey seeks immediate steps from Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Feb 15 (INP): Ankara authorities on Friday demanded Pakistani government to make immediate steps for bringing back more than 50,000 illegal expatriates jailed in Turkey.

Secretary Foreign Affairs wrote a letter to Interior Ministry pertaining matter raised by Turkish authorities for deporting Pakistani expatriates while a copy was also forwarded to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The authorities were demanded to dispatch teams comprising officials of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to Turkey.
