October 22, 2018

LAHORE, Oct 22 (INP) – Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) independent adjudicator on Monday has upheld 10-year ban on former cricket team opener Nasir Jamshed in Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot-fixing case.

According to details, Justice (R) Mian Hamid Farooq, while hearing the appeal filed by Nasir Jamshed against the decision of the Anti-Corruption Tribunal announced the verdict.

“The 10-year ban imposed on Nasir Jamshed has been found to be ‘perfectly justified’ and shall continue to remain in force,” he said.

The adjudicator ordered to avoid inclusion of Nasir in the list of players.

"Not to be given an important role to Jamshed in the management or administration of cricket has also been set aside," PCB press release stated.

Meanwhile, the board said that its action to root out corruption at all the levels in the game has continued.
