Interim cabinet takes oath at President House

ISLAMABAD, June 5 (INP): The six-member interim cabinet appointed by caretaker prime minister Justice (Retd) Nasirul Mulk took oath on Tuesday. President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to the interim cabinet at the President House. The cabinet includes former governor of State Bank of Pakistan, Shamshad Akhtar, former Pakistan ambassador to the United Nations Abdullah Hussain Haroon, former senator Roshan Khursheed Bharucha, Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh, Mohammad Azam Khan, and Syed Ali Zafar. Haroon will be given the portfolio of foreign ministry while Shamshad Akhtar will be the finance minister in the caretaker set-up. INP/LK
