JRL calls shutdown in Shopian on Tuesday

Srinagar, May 27 (INP): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has called shutdown on Tuesday in Shopian and its surroundings against double murder and rape of Aasiya and Nilofer. According to Kashmir Media Service, remembering the gruesome incident, the JRL said that Asiya and Nilofer were abducted, gang raped and then mercilessly killed by brutal forces. In remembrance of the double murder and rape case of Asiya and Nilofer, a shutdown has been called on May 29 in the district, the JRL said and added that instead of taking strict action against those involved in the double rape and murder, are awarded and rewarded and criminals are being shielded by puppet authorities.
