ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (INP): The Afghan embassy in Islamabad has contacted the Pakistan’s Foreign Office and sought help to locate the missing deputy governor of Kunar province. The Afghan embassy also informed the FO that Mohammad Nabi, Deputy Governor of Kunar province was in Peshawar for medical treatment and the embassy has been unable to contact the official, said the spokesperson from the FO. Sources said that Afghan deputy governor arrived in Peshawar for medical treatment but he was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified men in Peshawar. The FO spokesperson said that the concerned authorities have been asked to look into the matter and find the missing Afghan official. Muhammad Nabi is a renowned activist of Hezb-e-Islami. INP/AJ
