Srinagar, 06 (INP): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association has strongly condemned the recent killing of a mentally-challenged person Rayees Ahmed and a civilian Shahid Mansoor Mir by Indian troops at Pahnoo in Shopian district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Bar Association in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Indian forces due to immunity provided under draconian law Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) were killing innocent Kashmiris without any fear of accountability.

The HCBA also condemned the killing of a religious scholar of Pakistan Maulana Sami-ul-haq and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. It also expressed grief over the demise of Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan, a veteran politician of Azad Kashmir, who passed away on Sunday. The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt, in a statement also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan. INP/AK[/timed-content-server]
