President of Malakand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Mohammad Shoaib Khan said that his chamber’s mission is to promote industrialization, generate employment opportunities and boost exports in the country.

Addressing the Annual General Body Meeting of MCCI, he said that people in Malakand region were living in poverty. He hoped the establishment of Dargai Industrial Estate would prove to be a catalyst for industrialization and employment generation.

Shoaib commended the efforts of Founding President Mohammad Shoaib Khan, Senior Vice President Amir Naushad Khan and Vice President Ammad Khan and expressed full confidence in them.

The participants of the meeting expressed solidarity with the flood-affected people and the resolve to extend financial assistance to them. They also prayed for the eternal peace of those who had died in the recent floods.

The meeting was attended by Senior Vice President Amir Naushad Khan, Vice President Ammad Khan, members of the executive body and a large number of local businessmen. The MCCI’s accounts for the year 2021-22 were also approved in the meeting.
