LAHORE, Nov 13 (INP): The consultative meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) here at Jati Umrah concluded. The high level meeting of the ruling PML-N was chaired by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The meeting was attended among others by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Governor Punjab Rafique Rajwana, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullha. The marathon meeting, which lasted for hours, discussed overall political situation of the country. Sources said that the PML-N top leadership discussed party strategy for next general elections and starting election campaign. The corruption cases pending in accountability court against Sharif family and the NAB appeal against LHC decision to scrap Hudaibia Paper Mill reference against the Sharif family was also discussed in the meeting. The PML-N leadership also discussed the draft delimitation bill and opposition parties reservations over population census. During the meeting, it was decided that contact with other parties for passing the delimitation bill would be made. It is to be mentioned here that NAB appeal against LHC verdict scraping Hudaibia Paper reference could not be heard today as Justice Asif Khosa, who was heading the SC bench hearing the case, recused himself from the bench, saying that he had already given his opinion on the reference in Panama case.
