Memogate scandal: Bring Hussain Haqqani back in one month, SC directs govt

ISLAMABAD, Mar 28 (INP): Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday gave one-month deadline to federal government to bring former Pakistan’s ambassador to USA Hussain Haqqani back to Pakistan in Memogate scandal case. A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) resumed hearing of the Memogate case. Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar remarked they would not tolerate further delay in Haqqani’s return. He said no positive development has taken place regarding Haqqani’s return.
