ISLAMABAD: Capital University of Science and Technology and Digital Broadcast Television (DBTV) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote mobile journalism and provide trainings to students in field of media. The MoU will enable the students to learn new means of communication especially about Mobile Journalism.
On the occasion, Director in Service Directorate, Prof. Dr. Shaukat Iqbal termed the MoU as a new chapter of cooperation between the two sides and said that it would be helpful to provide opportunities to the students to explore new ways in media industry. He hoped that the student will take benefit from Mobile Journalism to serve the humanity and society. No society can highlight the achievements without a vocal media and mobile journalism will empower students through latest information and new trends in media, he remarked. He further said that new trends in media industry can play a great role to reduce gap between different sectors of society.
In her remarks, General Manager DBTV, Bakhtawar Mehmood said that the aim of the training is to equip students with modern techniques to truly demonstrate their creative work. She said that DBTV would extend all sort of cooperation to Capital University of Science and Technology and the students. She said that it will be a great opportunity for both sides to take benefit from each other’s experiences to serve humanity through information.
