Mother, newborn dies of alleged doctor’s negligence, protest held against incident

NAROWAL, June 27 (INP): Two including mother and a newborn died owing to alleged negligence of doctors and paramedical staff here on Wednesday. Heirs held protest against the hospital staff. According to details, Munaza 26, hailing from village Battian Wala Narowal was shifted to District Hospital due labour pain. The heirs with dead bodies held protest demonstration against the incident and demanded of the authorities concerned and to award exemplary punishment to the accused involved in playing with lives of people. However, the Medical Superintendent (MS) of District Hospital, Dr. Asif rejected the allegations and said that the child was already died due to lack of blood in the blood and they tried their best to save the life of mother but she also could not survive.
