LAHORE, Oct 28 (INP): Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday laid foundation stone of Baba Guru Nanak University in Nankana Sahib.
The premier had left for Nankana Sahib from Allama Iqbal International Airport after reaching Lahore where he was received by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar.

He will also deliberate on health reforms, Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and law and order situation. Meanwhile, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq said that PM Imran has fulfilled his another promise made with Sikh community by performing groundbreaking of Baba Guru Nanak University. The seed of interfaith harmony sown by the premier in the form of Kartarpur Corridor would become a shadowy tree of tolerance for followers of different religions, she said. On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has suggested the PM to visit entire Punjab instead of only visiting Lahore and hear the problems of the people.
