Nawaz Sharif indicted in third “Flagship Investment Ltd”

ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (INP): Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been indicted in the Flagship Investment Ltd reference filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The accountability court Judge Muhammad Bashir resumed hearing of the NAB reference. During the proceedings, the court declared ex-prime minsiter‘s sons Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz as absconders in a reference regarding a dozen offshore companies in United Kingdom (UK) and United Arab Emirates (UAE). The court charged Nawaz Sharif in absentia for holding assets beyond his known sources of income, and read out a charge-sheet to his pleader, Zafir Khan. INP/LK/AH
