Notorious robber killed in Mandi Bahauddin police encounter

MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Nov 24 (INP): A notorious robber was killed while his accomplices managed to escape after exchange of fire here on Saturday. Arms recovered from possession of the killed robber.
The encounter took place in Civil Lines police station jurisdiction in Mandi Bahauddin where a gang of robbers fleeing after committing robbery.
[timed-content-server show="11/25/2018 01:00 Asia/Karachi"]Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing at police which led to an exchange of fire. A notorious robber wanted by police in dozens of cases was killed in the encounter while his accomplice managed to escape. Weapons were recovered from possession of killed robber. Police claimed that the robber was killed in firing of his own accomplices. The body was shifted to hospital and the police after registering a case into the incident started an investigation.
