Pak-Business council urges James Mattis to adopt realistic approach in South Asia

LAHORE Dec 04 (INP): Founder Chairman Pak-US Business Council Iftikhar Ali Malik Monday vehemently urged visiting US Defence Secretary James Mattis to adopt realistic approach to address the serious concerns of Pakistan regarding Indian role in Afghanistan as no durable stability is possible in South Asia sans realization of Pakistan’s unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism. US Defence Secretary James Mattis embarked on five-day trip to Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan and Kuwait and his visit to Pakistan is part of an effort to set the conditions for future collaboration that would lead to denial of safe haven.
