Pakistan elected as vice chair of UN Environment Forum

ISLAMABAD, Jan 26 (INP): Prime Minister Imran Khan's Adviser on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam and Additional Secretary Babar Hayat Tarar represented Pakistan at the third session of the forum which was held in Singapore. Pakistan was elected as vice chair to the forum after 41 environmental ministers of countries in the region voted in its favour.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Amin Aslam said Pakistan is leading on environmental actions to tackle the effects of climate change.
