Pakistan in close contact with us over PM Imran’s visit: FO

ISLAMABAD, July 10 (INP): Foreign Office on Wednesday affirmed that it is in close contact with the United States regarding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Washington.
In a tweet, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal cautioned against speculation about the Premier’s visit.
Dr Muhammad Faisal wrote: “As per practice, formal announcements are made at the appropriate time”.
It is pertinent to mention that US State Department on Tuesday had expressed unawareness on PM Khan’s visit.
The State Department spokesperson said that they had heard about the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan but the White House had not communicated them officially in this regard.
