Pakistan pulls out of WTO meeting In India

ISLAMABAD, March 17 (INP): Pakistan has decided against sending the commerce minister to India to participate in the World Trade Organisation Summit in India after tensions between the two arch rivals witnessed new heights. Last month, India had invited Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Pervez Malik to participate in the informal WTO ministerial meeting taking place in New Delhi on March 19-20. Pakistan had originally accepted the invitation. According to reports, the Pakistani officials had confirmed that nobody would attend the WTO meeting in Delhi from Islamabad and this was also conveyed to India. INP/AJ
