Pakistan team reaches Wellington for first ODI

Wellington, Jan 04 (INP) – Pakistan cricket team has reached Wellington from Nelson for the first one-day international (ODI) against hosts New Zealand. The team will conduct a practice session tomorrow to finalize their preparations for the series opener. The first match will be played on Saturday at Basin Reserve, Wellington. It has been reported that Imam-ul-Haq, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Nawaz and Aamer Yamin might miss the first ODI. Furthermore, the weather department has predicted that the match can also be affected by rain. Let it be known that the Green Shirts had earlier beaten New Zealand XI in their practice match by 120 runs. Both Pakistan openers, Fakhar Zaman and Azhar Ali, smashed wonderful centuries. From bowling department, Shadab Khan dismissed four batsmen.
