CHICAGO, Dec 22 (INP): Consul General of Pakistan in Chicago Javed Ahmed Urmani has said Pakistani expatriates are playing a key role in the development of their country. He was addressing at a ribbon cutting ceremony of GILLONS new location along with Mayor Chicago Vernard Alsberry and Dr Malik Naveed Anwar, CEO of GILLONS here. Mr. Urmani said overseas Pakistanis are sending a huge amount of foreign exchange back to their country which helps to its boost economy. The Consul General further said overseas Pakistanis have played a remarkable role in the development and progress of GILLONS which has now turned it into a mega professional project. Mr. Javed Ahmed Urmani said that Pakistan expatriates are contributing a very crucial role in the development of Pakistan as they are sending foreign exchange back to their motherland. He said Government of Pakistan is not ignorant to the services of these expatriates and extend all sort of cooperation to their satisfaction. Speaking at the occasion, Mayor Chicago Vernard Alsberry said the United States encourage investors and extends every possible facilities to them. He said the administration and workers of the company with their hard work made the enterprise a successful venture.
