PM Imran Khan reacts to India’s maiden Test victory in Australia

Monitoring, Jan 8 (INP) - Pakistan Prime Minister and former cricketer, Imran Khan, took to Twitter to share a congratulatory message for the winning team.
Frequently dubbed ‘poor travellers’ due to their struggles abroad in contrast to their strong home form, India’s 2-1 victory not only lent legitimacy to their standing atop the test rankings but also made them the first Asian team to win a test series in Australia.
India has been celebrating the end of an agonizing 71-year wait for a first test series victory in Australia.
The victory has also invited praise from former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.
