PML-N continues to play role for cementing democracy: Nawaz

LAHORE, Nov 17 (INP): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that they would continue to play role for strengthening democracy as they had done earlier. In informal talk with journalists, the PML-N chief said that CPEC project was going to complete at fast track, adding that the project would not be allowed to be foiled by anyone at any cost. He said “today’s Pakistan was starkly different from that of 2013’s” saying that terrorism, load shedding and chaos was eradicated from the country. The former Prime Minister said that complete peace was restored in Karachi and Balochistan during last four years. He said that PML-N had never done politics of propaganda and lies, adding that they served the masses after coming into power in 2013 general election and would continue to serve them after 2018 elections. He added that Allah Almighty would end the difficult time they were facing very soon. It is to be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif spent busy day in Lahore. The former PM went to the residence of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and congratulated him on the wedding of his daughter. He also went to the house of his close friend Aleem Butt and offered condolence with his family over his demise. Nawaz offered Juma prayer at Defence mosque. INP/LK
