Commenting on the incident, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said that if India attempted to start a war, Pakistan’s flag will be hoisted in New Delhi. “It would be a mistake to consider our efforts towards peace as weakness,” he said. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari said that India should not remain in misconception, Pakistan, he said, was capable of giving a befitting response. “Modi should not disturb regional peace only for the sake of winning elections. India should be prepared to bear the loss in case of an attack on Pakistan,” he remarked. He further said that each and every citizen of Pakistan stood in support of the army. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah said that it would be a mistake to think that the political differences have divided the political parties of Pakistan. “We stand united when it comes to matters of national security. Violation of the LoC by India is a warning. In case of another such attempt, immediate action should be taken,” he said. INP/AK[/timed-content-server]
