President Alvi’s video wishes on Chinese NY go viral

Islamabad, January 22 (INP): President Dr. Arif Alvi conveyed a New Year’s greetings to the Chinese nation on China’s TikTok, a video-sharing social networking service.
The message of the good wishes by the President was conveyed in the Chinese language, which was heavily applauded by the Chinese people on the social media.
According to an estimate, the message was liked over 170,000 people in just 24 hours. It was reflective of the popularity, the Pakistani leaders enjoy among the Chinese brothers and sisters, a viewer said.
The Chinese people commented on the message, stating that the Pak-China relations always enjoyed a good momentum.
It was for the first time that the President of Pakistan passed on the message of good wishes to the Chinese people through the social networking service that was widely acknowledged.
The happy Chinese Lunar New Year falls on January 25 (Saturday). It is usually referred to as the Spring Festival and it is major holiday in the country.
