RAWALPINDI, March 11 (INP): Under the direction of the Director General (DG) Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Mehr Muhammad Hayat Lak, Metro Politian Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA directed owner of illegal housing scheme i.e. HM Homes, Dhamyal Road Rawalpindi to stop illegal advertisements and development.

The RDA under section Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010 Rules 2010 issued notice to the owner of above mentioned illegal housing scheme.

He is warned to stop immediately the advertisement on electronic and print media otherwise RDA would seal the site / booking offices of the illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi otherwise First Information Report (FIR) would be registered in relevant Police Station against the owner of illegal housing scheme.

RDA advises general public in their own interest that they should not make any investment in any illegal / unauthorized Housing Scheme which status declared illegal by RDA. Otherwise, they themselves will be responsible for their losses.

RDA spokesman Hafiz Muhammad Irfan said the DG RDA has directed the Director MP&TE to take strict action against illegal development / construction of booking and site offices without any fear or favour.
