Sh Rasheed Calls Naeem Ul Haque ‘sick’ after he criticized protocol culture

June 08, 2019

ISLAMABAD, June 08 (INP): Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed has called Naeem ul Haque ‘sick’ after he criticized the protocol taken by some VIPs and ministers.

When asked about Naeem ul Haque’s remarks in a press conference, the railways minister said, “Naeem ul Haque is sick. Pray for him.”

He further said that Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif cannot come to power again.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeem ul Haque while taking a dig at ministers called out the VIP protocol they receive.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Naeem ul Haque said, “A large number of VIPs and Ministers are still promoting the VIP culture by having police squads accompany them everywhere”.

He said that it is against the directives of the Prime Minister.

“Police squads are allowed to only those who face a real threat to their lives. This practice must stop,” he added.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had announced adopting of simplicity and austerity policy when it came to power.

Although many practical examples have been seen in this regard, some of the government representatives violate the government claims.

Critics say that the PTI had claimed to save costs and protect the public money, but seeing the security, protocol and expenditure of government officials, it seems that the claims are limited to the extent of political slogans only.
