ISLAMABAD, Dec 21 (INP): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif has been elected chairman of the Public Accounts Committee unopposed Friday.
It is pertinent to mention that on December 13, the government and opposition ended a deadlock over the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

Nonetheless, the first session of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was held in the National Assembly today. Earleir, a notification was issued by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser that revealed that the committee is comprised of 30 members. Political leaders Khuwaja Asif, Ayaz Sadiq, Fakher Imam, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Naved Qamar, Shireen Rehman and Shibli Farrar are included in the issued list of the members of PAC.
