Six-day anti-polio drive kicks off in Karachi, over 1.9m children to be vaccinated

KARACHI, July 02 (INP): The six-day anti-polio campaign kicks off in the metropolis on Monday and over 1.9 million children under the age of five years will be administrated polio drops during the campaign. Commissioner Karachi Sualeh Faruqi inaugurated the vaccination drive by administering polio vaccine to a child. [timed-content-server show="07/03/2018 01:00 Asia/Karachi"]Speaking on the occasion, Sualeh Faruqi said that over 7,000 teams had been formed that would carry out the anti-polio campaign. He said that all measures were taken for success of the anti-polio vaccination drive and to ensure vaccination of each and every child of the metropolis.
