Theresa May to face vote of no confidence

LONDON, Jan 16 (INP) British Prime Minister Theresa May will face vote of no confidence in House of Commons today as the Parliament rejected Theresa May's Brexit deal by 230 votes. Reports said that Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a vote of no confidence, which could trigger a general election. It may be recalled that the British House of Commons rejected Prime Minister’s Brexit deal. The Prime Minister lost after lawmakers voted by 432 to 202 to reject the agreement. Labour party members say the aim is to win power and negotiate Brexit on better terms while many among Labour members want to see another referendum with an option to cancel Brexit.
