Three dead, 12 injured as jeep carrying voters falls into gorge

BATTAGRAM, July 25 (INP): At least three people died and a dozen others were injured when a jeep carrying voters fell into a ravine here on Wednesday. Police said that a jeep carrying voters to polling station for casting vote skidded off road after driver lost control of vehicle and it plunged a gorge in mountainous area of tehsil Allai in district Battagram. The police and local population through joint efforts pulled up the bodies and injured from gorge and shifted them to hospital where condition of some wounded was stated to be in critical.
