Two children die, parents hospitalized after eating contaminated food

KARACHI, Nov 11 (INP): Two children died while their parents were affected and hospitalized after eating contaminated food from a restaurant here in the metropolis. The restaurant was sealed and an investigation was kicked off. Police said that a couple along with two children during outing in Clifton area of Karachi took meal at Zamzama Restaurant. Due to eating the food which turned contaminated due to unknown reasons, two children including one and half year old Ahmad and five-year-old Muhammad died while their parents fell unconscious and were rushed to hospital in critical condition. The food department collected the sample of contaminated food and sent it for laboratory test. The police sealed the restaurant and after registering a case against owner, employees started an investigation.
