PU'ER, Dec. 8, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Originated in Pu'er City of southwest China's Yunnan Province, the Jueban woodcut is a kind of woodcarving technique with a history of more than 30 years.
The name of the technique "Jueban", which means "out of print" in Chinese, comes from a characteristic of this art: irreversibility - once a woodcut painting is finished, the woodcut will not be usable anymore. And this makes Jueban woodcut paintings even more precious and unique.
