US Congressmen stress for close cooperation between Pakistan and US to achieve peace and stability in South Asia

WASHINGTON, Nov 10 (INP) Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry had separate meetings with Senator Jim Risch (Republican) and Congressman Albio Sires (Democrat-) on Capitol Hill as part of his endeavours to brief the US law makers about Pakistan’s contributions in the war on terror. Senator Risch chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on South Asia and is also a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Congressman Sires is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Ranking Member of its Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere. INP/AH
