US statements against Pakistan would not help achieve goals

Washington, Jan 5 (INP) Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan is a sovereign country and statements by the US officials against a sovereign state would not help achieving goals and targets against terrorism. In a TV interview, he said the United States has not been able to achieve its desired results in Afghanistan and joint efforts are needed to combat the menace....................... INP/AH
