Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports during July–January FY26 remained concentrated in a limited number of key markets, with the European Union (EU-27), the United States and the United Kingdom accounting for the bulk of export earnings, according to the Monthly Report of Pakistan’s Textile & Apparel Exports prepared by the Pakistan Textile Council (PTC).
The report shows that total textile and apparel exports stood at $10.93 billion during July–January FY26.
Out of this total, exports to the EU were recorded at $4.351 billion, making it the largest destination for Pakistan’s textile and apparel products during the period.
Exports to the United States amounted to $2.925 billion, placing it as the second-largest market.
Shipments to the United Kingdom were recorded at $1.066 billion during the same period.
Together, exports to these three markets totalled approximately $8.342 billion during July–January FY26.
In comparison, exports to the United Arab Emirates stood at $381 million, while exports to Bangladesh were recorded at $378 million.
The report’s five-year trend data shows that exports to the EU stood at $3,842 million in 2021–22, increased to $3,983 million in 2022–23, declined to $3,689 million in 2023–24, and rose to $4,359 million in 2024–25 before reaching $4,351 million in 2025–26.
Exports to the United States were recorded at $3,356 million in 2021–22, declined to $2,737 million in 2022–23 and $2,490 million in 2023–24, and then increased to $2,820 million in 2024–25 and $2,925 million in 2025–26.
Textile exports to the United Kingdom stood at $1,044 million in 2021–22, declined to $945 million in 2022–23, rose to $951 million in 2023–24, increased to $1,063 million in 2024–25, and reached $1,066 million in 2025–26.
The figures presented in the report are based on calculations derived from data sourced from the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
According to the July–January FY26 data, these three markets remained the principal destinations for Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports during the period under review.
