Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport continued to face disruptions on Sunday, as IndiGo Airlines experienced operational challenges that affected multiple arrivals and departures. According to Kashmir Media Service, a total of 38 movements—19 arrivals and 19 departures—were scheduled for the day. Of these, IndiGo operated only 20 movements, comprising 10 arrivals and 10 departures.
Four flights, including two arrivals and two departures, were cancelled due to operational issues, while two additional flights—one arrival and one departure—were delayed. Passengers at Srinagar Airport expressed frustration over the ongoing disruptions, highlighting the inconvenience caused by repeated cancellations and delays.
Airport authorities confirmed that they were coordinating with IndiGo Airlines to resume normal operations and minimize further disruptions. The incident adds to India’s ongoing flight operation challenges, with Srinagar airport witnessing periodic disruptions that continue to impact travelers and tourism in the territory.
