Raman Bhalla, working president of Congress IIOJK chapter, has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is exploiting Operation Sindoor for vote-bank politics.  According to Kashmir Media Service, Bhalla during a tour to Nai Basti area in Jammu alleged that  the BJP was using the operation for political gain.  Bhalla stressed the need to address the concerns of the locals.

He highlighted various issues faced by residents of Nai Basti, including inadequate infrastructure, water scarcity, and lack of basic amenities. Meanwhile, Bhalla said the IIOJK administration was not able to provide relief to the people in Jammu. “The residents of Jammu district have been left stranded due to persistent shortages of drinking water and irregular power supply. Despite the installation of smart meters, the government has miserably failed to ensure a regular power supply.”
