Delhi police have arrested a 22-year-old man for performing dangerous motorcycle stunts on a busy highway and endangering public safety while filming social media reels.According to Indian media, the suspect has been identified as Tushar Puniya. A video of the incident went viral on social media on February 16 .
The footage showed the young man riding a motorcycle without a registration number plate and opening the doors of moving cars and buses.Police took notice of the video, registered a case against the youth and commenced an investigation. After analysing CCTV footage and the viral clip, officers traced and arrested the suspect.
The motorcycle used in the incident has also been seized.Police said the suspect had deliberately removed the number plate of the motorcycle to avoid identification.Indian media reported that CCTV footage showed the youth riding recklessly through traffic and suddenly opening vehicle doors, posing a serious threat not only to his own life but also to other passengers.
