Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, leader of the pro-Khalistan organization Sikhs for Justice, has issued strong statements against India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, claiming that India is not just “hell” but a “genocide-filled hell” where the Sikh community has faced oppression for decades. In his statement, Pannun said that US President Donald Trump’s remarks describing India as a “hellhole” were accurate.
He alleged that successive Indian governments have been involved in acts of genocide against Sikhs, and that under the current Modi administration, Sikhs are facing economic destruction and ethnic cleansing. He further stated that pro-Khalistan Sikhs are running a global referendum campaign to “liberate Punjab from Indian control.”
Pannun also claimed that certain Hindu nationalist groups in the United States are allegedly involved in anti-American activities. He called on the U.S. government to introduce a “loyalty test” for Indian-origin Hindus living in the country.
