An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) man died in a road accident in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased has been identified as Ved Paul Singh, son of Bacheetar Singh, resident of Ratnal, Bishnah. The 59-year-old Ved Paul Singh died after the tractor he was riding overturned near Ratnal village in Bishnah town of the district. Officials said Paul sustained severe injuries when the tractor veered off the road after losing control while trying to save a scooty-rider near his home.

In another accident, a 60-year-old man identified as Ghulam Hassan Chopan died after falling from a walnut tree at his residence in the Kralapathri area of Khansahib in Budgam district. Meanwhile, two persons identified as Gablesh Kumar and Raj Kumar were killed after the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Satasar area along the Bani-Basohli road in Kathua district.
